Glassware inspired by rock hounding

Finding exquisite rock structures when digging into the earth’s crust.

We never heard of a Rock Hound before moving to Utah, and at first we just assumed it was some kind of cute animal that liked living amongst, well, rocks. But then a whole new world was opened up and we got to sharpen our tools hunting for rocks.

It was a hot and arduous adventure, one with tiny rewards. But that moment you take a hammer and that one crack just splits open to reveal a precious gem… it’s. addicting.

So I can’t claim to say we are true Rock Hounds by any means. But knowing the treasure that exists right underneath our feet is nonetheless astounding. The geometries and structures that are found in these crystalline lattices are simply jaw dropping.

In ode to these wonders we created designs bringing this inspiration to life in our everyday. We hope you enjoy them too.
